Just you, the gym floor, your own programme, and a qualified personal trainer with you.
Strength
Mobility drills and yoga-inspired movement: spine, hips, breathing, before anything heavy goes on the bar. We check in on how you’re feeling that day, because we’d rather know before we load the bar than after. Ten minutes, and it’s the work most people never do on their own.
32 seconds of work, 104 seconds of rest. Longer than a HIIT class, and that’s the point: 6 to 8 reps, bigger movement patterns, real weight. We warm up first and leave a little in the tank each set, so the next one is just as strong.
Most studios treat this as separate from strength. We don’t. We isolate what you’re after, often glutes, chest, shoulders, or arms, in the 8 to 12 rep range with tight bracing and slow control. We push you closer to failure, because that’s what drives growth.
Support
Starting somewhere new can feel intimidating. We’ll know you’re coming, meet you in reception, and talk through any issues before we start. We take it easy on this one and introduce you to a few regulars.
Now we know how you move, we build on session one instead of repeating it, so you recover better and start training with real intention. You’ll still feel like you could do a bit more. That’s exactly the spot we want.
You’ll feel stronger and see real progress, with a clearer sense of what you’re capable of. We revisit the same muscle groups, pushed further. Afterwards, ask us anything. There’s no pitch, no hard sell, and nothing ties you in.
Community
Turning up is the hardest part, and it’s easier once you know someone will be there. Within a couple of weeks, you’ll recognise the regulars at your session, and they’ll recognise you. That’s usually what gets you through the door on the days you’d rather not.
There’s a difference between a room of people plugged into headphones and one where everyone’s working alongside each other. You feel it the moment you walk in. Nobody’s performing, nobody’s watching, everyone’s just getting on with their own work.
Left alone, most people stop a set or two early. In a group you don’t, because the person next to you is still going. You’ll finish sessions you’d have talked yourself out of on your own.
Pop down for a coffee and a proper look. We’ll show you the space, answer anything, and you can watch a session in action to get a feel for it.
